I agree. Builders have been used to HUGH profits and are not willing to accept reasonable profits. Also much of their market value & valuations depend upon the sales prices, so reduction in REAL sales price has a double whammy of lower profits & lower valuations. There are few (very few) not so large & reputed developers making an effort to deliver affordable housing, but they are insignificant.
ReplyDeleteIn the past builders have made profit to an extent of 80-90%. In current scenario, there is a huge supply demand gap. We have so many builders coming up with new projects and actual genuine buyers are very few.Prices should fall in coming months in my opinion.
